Joint Efforts, Inc. has been playing a key role in improving the quality of life in the South Bay area since 1968. Our programs are geared toward dealing with some of society’s toughest social issues including child abuse prevention, substance abuse treatment, helping disenfranchised veterans lead independent and self-sufficient lives, working with at-risk youth by providing job training and placement services and in the provision of emergency and transitional housing for women living with HIV/AIDS. All of our programs are dedicated to helping those who want to end the downward spiral of their lives regardless of their ability to pay. Our tradition of providing quality care with uncompromising compassion has been the primary component of our commitment to service for more than a generation. It’s allowed our agency to affect change in the lives of more than 2500 individuals and 300 families a year. As we enter into our second generation of service, our primary goal
is the same; to continue to improve the quality of life in our community
and for everyone we serve. Over the years, Joint Efforts, Inc. has
been at the forefront of meeting the human and social service needs
in our community. Each time the primary objective has been to provide
the best client care possible while being ever vigilant with the
resources used to provide them. These opportunities have given staff
the experience necessary to face the human services challenges of
this millennium.
